During this two hour in person consultation we'll discuss your ideal birth and create a plan surrounding your ideal birth with tools designed to allow you to reach your goals!

Let's face it newborns are not your bestfriend and have the unique ability to communicate (barely) without words. We'll discuss tones, cues and what to expect with a newborn.

  • Swaddling

  • Holding

  • Diapering

  • Feeding (breast & bottle)

  • First 24 hours with a newborn

  • Safe sleep

And so much more..

As your doula my main objective is to prepare you and your partner to make the best evidence based decisions for yourselves and your baby. Starting in pregnancy I will educate you on childbirth, attend one prenatal appointment to meet your provider and will make myself available to answer (or find answers) to all of your questions and concerns.

Cost should not be a barrier to care, please inquire about financial aid.

  • At least two prenatal visits (in-home)

  • 24/7 on-call availability starting at 37 weeks of pregnancy

  • Birth plan consult

  • One dad doula consultation

  • Eight hours of postpartum care

  • 40 hours of virtual care

  • 24/7 on-call availability starting at 37 weeks of pregnancy

  • Birth plan consult

  • Meal prep plans

and much more...

As a result of my Midwifery training, in-person doula service availability is extremely limited.

Please inquire about your due date via email or send a message.

I am also happy to refer other great doulas that service the same area.

There is nothing like a good night’s sleep! I offer the “night shift” services so that you and your partner can get much needed rest. Generally, I arrive at 10 pm and leave at 6 am, unless other arrangements are made in advance.  I will tend to your baby’s every need so that you can relax and sleep soundly with the knowledge that your newborn is being well-cared for.

Overnight care with a postpartum doula:

We will work together to plan a strategy for what will work best for you, your partner, and your baby. A guest bedroom with bassinet is ideal but a couch near the baby is sufficient for rest for me. I am there to serve you and your family and will take a rest if the situation permits.

My role will vary each day with your unique needs, but there are core elements that are nearly always present:

  • If you are breastfeeding I will bring your baby to you and support you in feeding. If your baby is bottle-fed or you have pumped breast milk, I can feed your baby and leave you uninterrupted.

  • After baby feeds I will change, swaddle and soothe your baby back to sleep.

  • Often, I fold baby laundry and spend time gathering resources that you might need for the following morning.

  • When your baby is sleeping and chores are finished, I will rest. If your baby is having a particularly rough night, my focus will be on making your little one comfortable and tending to their needs.
